The Zoo

So we went to the zoo! It was Allyse and I's first trip to the Hoggle Zoo. For Jason and Jackilyn is was not the first time, but the first time since all of the construction going on. We went on a Saturday in the early afternoon and it was surprisingly not that crowded. My sister Keri also came with us. (She needed an out and could not stand being at home alone any more.)

When we first entered the zoo Jackilyn was so excited. She wanted to run to everything and do everything at once. It was funny. I had been told that the Hoggle Zoo was much smaller than what I was use to but I had no idea it was that SMALL. I was really surprised at how small it was. I know some of it has been closed off and shut down while it is under construction, but it must be the smallest zoo I have ever been to. I am interested and excited to see it once all of the construction is finished and it has been expanded. I think it will be a lot bigger. However, for the time being we had a fun time exploring.

While we were there we had to of course see the monkeys. Jason always calls Jackilyn a little monkey, so it only was right to take her picture with the monkeys.

While we were exploring the primates we found this fun mural. Jackiln fits the juvenille primate while i fit the female primate. Her arms were a little short but we had fun standing up again it to compare our sizes!!

We also let her ride the carousel. It was fun to watch her go round on it. She wanted Allyse to come on it with her but we told her Allyse was to little to go on it and it was only a big girl thing, she wasn't happy about it at first but once she got on the ride she was fine. She ended up really having fun on it!

Over all it was a fun family outing!
